When we think about happiness, it means joy and nothing to worry about. But sometimes this same happiness can be a cruel one. How can that be? Happiness has various forms. It can be joyful, stress-free, jealousy, selfish etc the list goes one. Surprised? How can jealousy be a type of happiness? If someone in your life who has hurt you to the core, has something bad happen to them, you find some happiness, which is not worth celebrating or feeling the soothing effect of it. Happiness is all situational. Our life is always on a curve of happiness and sadness. When things happen in our life according to our thoughts, we are happy and content, but when things do not happen according to our expectations we are doomed in sorrow.

If this curve of happiness and sadness did not exist, then we would not feel the mode and effect of happiness in life. Sorrows come in our life to show that happiness does exist. There is a saying “Calm after Storm”, everyone goes through this, irrespective of gender, caste, religion, status. When you are going through rough days and you see someone else rejoicing, you feel negative about yourself. Not everyone falls into this category. A person who has been through the rough days and has overcome his / her ability can truly prosper.

So where is the happiness in our life?

The answer is within oneself. You cannot find your own happiness in someone else. It may be true that someone can give you happiness. It is not practically easy to accept every moment in our life as a happy one but seeking happiness through the sorrowful moments and overcoming it in a positive way is what makes one happy. In my life I have gone through many unhappy moments and started feeling negative about myself. Later I started realising that building negativity within oneself, destroys not only our mind and body but also those surrounding us. It shatters the relationship with those who we used to love unconditionally or trust completely. Once we start discovering that negativity is destroying our instincts, never be late to turn our back from it. Get started in seeking ways of happiness and keeping the mind at ease and peace. It is quite hard to know from where to start though but think about the incident that made us unhappy and what moment in that incident made us unhappy. Is it the way someone spoke to us? Is it the matter that they spoke about? Analyse the facts and think what could be done to let go the moments of unhappiness. This may not apply in some of the life changing situations, for example if someone in the family has sadly passed away, it is very impractical to think how to find happiness in this situation. Definitely it is not possible. Grief and sorrow over this matter are unimaginable and hard to overcome. As the day passes by, we will overcome this situation too and we will remember them in their core memory. Start living for those who live for us and remember the life curve of happiness and sadness.

Let us make our life positive and set our mind and body to a positive mode. Through the rough days, try to analyse the situation like what to do next? Rather than pounding on why it happened and what is going to happen. We all go through hard times in our life, but building positivity will sure help us in overcoming any difficult situation in our life and thus it leads to the pathway called happiness.

THEREFORE, HAPPINESS IS FOUND WITHIN YOU, YOU JUST NEED TO SEEK IT.
